Friendly host, great location, comfy bed, good breakfast and convenient parking.

An excellent place to stay for a night, topped off with a cooked brekky in the morning! staff were so lovely and super accomodating. 10/10 recommend to anyone

Very kind people….guy there ordered me a taxi, and helped me with my luggage. Even stored my case in their office overnight so that I didn’t have to take it up or down the stairs. Absolutely nothing but praise!

Good breakfast, good central location with free parking. Quiet comfortable room. Mr Mughal was very helpful and hospitable. I was able to complete my visits to the local library and Berkshire Archive very easily during my stay. Many thanks.

A warm friendly greeting and assistance to secure my bicycle and helped me with upstairs with my bike bags. The room was spacious and quiet and the bed was super comfortable and had soft, high thread count sheets. The heating in the room meant it was a cosy room on a cold night. Breakfast was lovely and generous. Great location just a short walk to shops and restaurants and 15 min walk to the Abbey ruins.

Comfortable stay, great breakfast included, good value, and central location near the centre. Just what you need to stay for one night, and always nice to have a sink in the room. Really friendly and helpful staff, I had to leave late and they allowed me to still use one of the rooms to get changed in.

This was what you want from a B&B, very friendly and helpful staff, a nice quiet room, and an excellent breakfast. The room was basic, but comfortable, and had everything I needed (I opted for a private bath - the shower and sink were right in the room, although the toilet was separated) Free off street parking which seems to be unusual for reading, and very appreciated. One of the staff members helped me with my bags to my car when leaving which was a nice touch. Easy walking distance to where I needed to go as well, and felt safe walking back.
